Last night we got back from our last road trip of 2018. We were away for only five days but we got to see many beautiful places, such as Oporto in Portugal, the eastern part of Galicia and Las Médulas in León. For this trip I brought the Fujifilm XT2+16mm f1.4, the Canon 6D+ Sigma 50mm f1.4 and my Nikon F3 with a couple of rolls that I still need to develop. Hope you like this set of photos and I hope they make you want to travel to these lovely places.
I had three hours in between classes and my husband was working the afternoon shift. There was snow in the mountains so it only took us a couple of minutes to put on warm clothes and head out of the door. We don't have a proper sledge, so we took a couple of plastic bags to slide down the mountain. It was the best 3 hours e've had in a while.

I had been planning to go back to this wonderful place for a few months now. It's 2.40hrs away from home and it's called Bardenas Reales. An incredible arid and desolate place that offers incredible photo opportunities. My brother and I are both on holidays at the moment, so I asked him if he wanted to tag along and he quickly said yes. We packed our lunch, water bottles, mountain boots and cameras, and we headed out early in the morning.
It wasn't cold, about 8ºC and very windy, but totally worth it, don't you think?. The light kept changing constantly, the clouds came and went, and by the end of the day it ended up raining. However, I only wish this place were closer, so that I could drive around and explore all those peaks more often.
Hope you like this set and let me know in the comments which one is your favorite.

A few weeks ago we received our new camper van, so obviously we were beyond excited to go on a little road trip to test it out. We decided to drive to Andorra, which is 6 hours away from where we live and we had never been to this little country.
We left on Thursday afternoon after work, and got to the ski station Ordino-Arcalís at around 11pm where we spent the two nights. Waking up there was wonderful and the night in the camper van warm and cozy. It was incredible to have breakfast surrounded by such beautiful scenery.
After checking out some of the views we decided to walk around other villages like La Cortinada and Ordino. In the evening, we decided to take the cable car to go to the top of the mountains near Encamp where we watched the sun go down.
The next morning we woke up again at the same location as the first night. This time, the sunrise was more special. At first it looked as if the clouds wouldn't let the sun go through, but then the skies opened up to let the purple light of the sunrise. It was misty and really cold, near -5ºC, but that didn't stop us to go out to make some photos before preparing the breakfast.
Later in the morning, we drove to Andorra La Vella and then we wandered around the frozen lake Engolasters. The weather was about to change, so before heading back home, we drove up to Port d' Envalira to check the snowed in mountains one last time.
These are some of the photographs I made on these two days. Hope you enjoy them!
